The Hoosier- Not Just a Basketball Movie
The Wright State men and women completed their regular season play at the toughest and largest tournament of the season – The Hoosier.
Our teams bowled 3 games on 3 different patterns and because this was a Tier 1 tournament, our kids had to adjust using only 5 bowling balls each. Our men fought hard against the best 52 teams in the country and finished 22nd, but were less than 200 pins out of 10th.
The men finished the regular season ranked 18th out of 140 men’s programs. The women finished 11th out of 28 teams and received the last $300 check by 2 pins. We worked very hard in the second part of the last game and the effort paid off. Our women finished the regular season ranked 16th out of 73 schools.
Both teams will be heading to the Fairview Heights sectional where we expect to be a contender for one of the four national spots up for grabs.
